Gladitude

The meaning of "gladitude" is a combination of gratidude and gladness. We should all show graditude for all of life's blessings. At the same time we should experience joy (or gladness) in acknowledging God's gifts to us. The lack of that joy reveals a serious flaw in our gratitude to God. Think about something which you were truly grateful for, and how you expressed your gratitude to the Giver. Compare that joyful reaction to the obligatory "Thank you" which you give when you really don't mean it. Now you be the judge. For everything God gives you, is your response the former or the latter?
